Niels Bohr Professor Subir Sarkar and Discovery Center scientist Jason Koskinen publish in Science

The first ever detection of high-energy extraterrestrial neutrinos was reported by the IceCube collaboration and was the cover article of the most recent issue of Science. The result from the cubic-kilometer detector situated at the south pole may herald the beginning of neutrino astronomy. As members of the collaboration, NBI Discovery Center Scientist D. Jason Koskinen and Niels Bohr Professor Subir Sarkar, who is also Scientific Associate of the Discovcery Center, look forward to follow-up studies and added data.
