Discovery Center organizes Nordic PhD Winter School in Gausdal
The school, which is limited to approximately 40 Nordic students will provide intense courses in neutrino physics, astroparticle physics, observational cosmology, Higgs physics and beyond the Standard Model Physics and theory of the quark-gluon plasma.
Outstanding experts in these fields will be giving the lectures. The school is sponsored by the Discovery Center (NBI), the Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP), and the Niels Bohr International Academy (NBIA).
A: Subir Sarkar (Astroparticle physics)
B: Pilar Hernandez (Neutrino physics)
C: Simon Caron-Huot (Finite-T field theory and heavy ion collisions)
D: Patrick Meade (Higgs physics and Beyond the Standard Model)
E: David Rapetti (Cosmology and data)
The meeting is co-sponsored by the Niels Bohr International Academy and the Helsinki Institute of Physics. More details can be found at
