"The neutrino is one of the most numerous fundamental particles in nature, but also the one we know least about.

The project aims to use the IceCube Neutrino Observatory at the South Pole to make the best measurements of neutrinos capacity to change type on their way through the universe, "says Jason Koskinen.

The grant will finance the recruitment of PhD students, postdocs and computer equipment for both current and future experimental exploration of neutrinos.
