Nobel Laureate David Gross will be Visiting Professor at the Discovery Center for three months this spring

Professor David Gross from the University of California in Santa Barbara will be visiting the Discovery Center and the Niels Bohr International Academy in the period April-June, 2013.

David Gross is holder of the Frederick W. Gluck Chair in Theoretical Physics at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics and is also Professor of Physics at the Department of Physics at the University of California in Santa Barbara.

He received the Nobel Prize for the discovery of Asymptotic Freedom in 2004, and has in addition received numerous prizes and honors also for many other aspects of his work on fundamentals of particle physics.

David Gross has an intense interest in physics of the LHC at CERN, and will be a central and powerful player in the work at the Discovery Center this spring.
