The LHC recovers after technical stop
After setting an intensity world record of 4.67 x 1032cm-2s-1, the Large Hadron Collider has been down for a short technical stop.
Operation is now resuming towards the goal of securing enough data to enable the experiments to make a statement about the existence of the Higgs particle in 2012. Discovery scientists are buckling down for data analysis.
